The FPT 8800 series ARTEX programmer provides a ruggedized, simple to use ELT support tool suitable for bench and field applications. If you manage a fleet, sell or service ARTEX Emergency Locator Transmitters, this tool is a must have. ARTEX will be introducing additional configurations to program all current ELT products. Note: This programmer does not measure power or read the beacon transmission transmitted by the radio. The FPT 8800 series reads the internal memory and reprograms the ELT to approved Cospas-Sarsat protocols only. Aftermarket 406 power test equipment such as Viavi 10K and WST BT-200 are required to provide the required annual beacon power test. Please contact your local authority for ELT testing requirements for scheduled inspections.
